Young Master Pianists of the Musikhochschule Würzburg
am 26.01.2023, 19:30
Preis: 14 € / 5 € students
Piano works from three centuries!
Eight pianists from the various piano majors in Würzburg:
on 26 January we will ignite a piano fireworks display at Steingraeber!
The 18th century will be represented by Joseph Haydn, the 19th by Schubert, Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Chopin and Liszt, and from the 20th century works by Scriabin, Ravel and Dutilleux will be performed.
These are all great works which the young master pianists have prepared:
4 sonatas from the 4 centuries – in comparison, so to speak! Famous works such as Mendelssohn’s “Variations serieuses” and Listz’s Mephisto Waltz join masterpieces of French Impressionism from the pen of Maurice Ravel.
Bayreuth’s [perhaps] most popular concert series gets off to a brilliant start to the year on 26 January!
