Flames of Romance – Musicians of the Wagner Festspiele and more

Piano quartets by Johannes Brahms and Josef Suk will be heard. While Brahms’ piano quartets are among the most popular works of piano chamber music, the piano quartet of the Czech Josef Suk is a secret jewel full of national colors and joy of playing. The program offers passion, emotion, sensitivity and an extraordinary wealth of colors paired with great virtuosity.

The Musicians

Internationally sought-after young top musicians make music, such as the solo violist of the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra Benjamin Beck from France and the French competition winner Stanislas Kim on cello. Furthermore, the German violin soloist Martina Trumpp and the internationally sought-after Czech pianist Bohumir Stehlik.
